Water Restrictions

Limited supplies, rising costs and State mandated regulations make it necessary to implement watering restrictions. The Authority’s water restrictions help to ensure an adequate water supply for the community.

Water restrictions are in effect from May 1 through September 30 of each year.

The water restriction system is based on location to encourage neighborhood compliance. All residential and commercial customers of the MUA are required to comply with the watering restrictions.

Use the map below to identify the water restrictions in your location.

     – If you live North of Route 70 ( green section GREEN ) you may water on odd numbered days.

     – If you live South of Route 70 ( blue section blue ) you may water on even numbered days.

Limited hours are in effect on all assigned days. No one may water from 8:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m.

THE ODD/EVEN WATERING SYSTEM DOES NOT DEPEND UPON HOUSE ADDRESS.
