Wastewater Treatment System Licensed Supervisor
The Evesham Municipal Utilities Authority, operates three wastewater treatment plants processing a combined 3.6 million gallons of wastewater per day collected and transported by a collection system consisting of 17 miles of force main; 145 miles of gravity mains and 26 pumping stations. The Authority has an immediate opening for a licensed Wastewater Treatment System Supervisor. The Wastewater Treatment System Supervisor will serve under the direction of the Regulatory Compliance Manager as well as the Operations Manager and will be responsible for/to: Planning, organizing, staffing, directing and coordinating activities of those employees engaged in the operation of the systems, machinery, processes and equipment related to a public wastewater treatment system; ensure compliance with all applicable, State, County and Federal regulations governing wastewater treatment systems; confer with the Authority’s Administration in order to plan repair and replacement programs, routine maintenance, infrastructure capital improvement projects and work in conjunction with the Operations Manager and Executive Director in the development and achievement of the wastewater treatment system’s goals and objectives
The successful candidate must meet the minimum requirements of a Wastewater Treatment Plant Supervisor for the EMUA as defined in the Authority’s job description below for Wastewater Treatment Plant Supervisor. In addition, the successful candidate must have a minimum of five years of experience in wastewater treatment systems; must have demonstrated a proven track record of proficiency in the proper operation of wastewater treatment systems and must possess a minimum of an S-2 license and must obtain an S-3 license within two (2) years of appointment. The successful candidate must maintain, at a minimum, a Class B Commercial Drivers License with Air Brake and Tanker endorsements or acquire same within a year of appointment. Note: The Authority reserves the right to waive the requirement for five years of experience for an otherwise qualified candidate.
